Amicus Finance PLC enter Administration

It came to our knowledge that Amicus Finance PLC were seeking a suitable investor, to help them fund themselves going forward, last month. Now news has been confirmed that they have failed to find a suitable investor and have fallen into administration.

The specialist financial services group, have had a difficult few weeks.

A statement from themselves on LinkedIn reads: ‘’We would like to take the opportunity to thank our staff, customers and friends for their support, hard work and dedication over the past 12 months. In what has been a difficult few weeks, the people of Amicus have remained professional, committed and have pulled together to support each other and look forward.’’

The property lending arms of the business, Amicus Property Finance and Amicus Commercial Mortgages operations have been closed  – with Amicus Asset Finance being separated and saved before the administration process occurred.
